The UK currently imports around half of its supply of gas. This is the same gas that’s crucial in the heating of our homes, the powering of our businesses and the success of our industries. By producing our gas onshore here in the UK instead of importing it from overseas, we could not only create 64,000 jobs, a new stream of UK tax revenue and direct investment into our communities, but help our environment too. So let’s get on with it, not just for our economy, but for the world we live in.
